P.E.

Physical Education at Kidman Park Primary School is aimed at developing a happier, healthier and more successful school community. Our role is to create an inclusive programme that assists students to develop greater confidence, social competencies, resilience and self-esteem through the enjoyment of physical education.

Our programming for years F – 2 is based on the development of Fundamental Movement Skills, team work, collaboration, fair play and fun. This is continued with students in years 3 – 7 with greater emphasis on specialised movement skills in specific sport categories.

Physical Education provides our students not only the opportunity to engage and be challenged in a variety of different movement challenges but also promotes students to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

I enjoy that its a fun lesson we do every week and it’s a good way to keep your fitness up and having a good time. The skills they teach you sport how to do different tricks in the sport. I would improve in like trying harder in the sports that I don’t enjoy doing that I need to practise on.

I enjoy that we do fun activities and good games and drills and we get to run around a lot. They teach us P.E. skills like how to dribble and other pe skills.

My favorite subject is PE. it is my favorite subject because we don’t write anything and play games that are extremely fun. I mostly enjoy it because we are having fun and at the same time we are getting fit and healthy.

We learn how to play different games that use teamwork and different skills like shooting and running. We also learn games from different cultures like Aboriginal games and we compare them to the games that we play today. We also learn about the different types of games like invasion games and court games.

Personally my favourite subject is P.E because we learn new sports and have fun running around. We learn to work as a team and work with our classmates.
