Immersive Technologies

At KPPS we are working in partnership to create a new Immersive Studio. We will have an expanded TV studio with new lighting, green screen and curtains to make it easier for students to produce ideas as a part of their learning. All connecting with a state of art Immersive Technologies suite.

Immersive Technologies are an important part of our world

  • They allow us to travel across the solar system
  • Support innovative surgery
  • Provide opportunities for communication
  • Manipulate robots deep in our oceans
  • Run smartphones
  • Allow driverless vehicles + so much more

It’s the stuff we dream about, make movies about and even the tools used to make movies – think of 2001 a Space Odyssey and the predictions for the future made by that movie.
